Once Principal, Now Superintendent

As Dupo High School students we have all had the privilege of having Dr. White as our principal and now she is our new superintendent. Dr. White was the Bluffview Principal for six years, then last year, she was the Assistant Superintendent to Dr. Carpenter. When asked about her favorite part of being in education, she said it’s to be able to help and support students throughout her career. Dr. White feels this is her home and community and she plans to stay here until she retires. Her biggest challenge she felt would be adjusting to her new role and being in the central office. Originally she wanted to be a teacher and these are just the next steps in her career when it comes to her new role. “I am excited to see what the great things the students do this year!”
